Nitro car: the RTR Nitro RS4 3 Evo! Aimed directly at the
beginner-to-intermediate Nitro touring car market, this is an updated
version of our Nitro RS4 3, packed with features designed to get new owners
on the street or track faster and more conveniently than ever! With a more
powerful engine, Roto Start System, 2-speed transmission, prepainted body
and more, this is the RTR touring car of choice for any discerning new
buyer!
The RTR Nitro RS4 3 Evo uses the same chassis and major
components of the Nitro 3 series. Preassembled on a 2.5mm thick purple
anodized 6061 aluminum chassis, the RTR 3 Evo uses a durable shaft
drivetrain with a removable radio tray. An HPI TX-2 radio, receiver and
servos provide for a reliable and trustworthy electronics package.
The heart of the new and improved RTR Nitro RS4 3 Evo is the brand new
T-15 engine, providing more mid-range power and top end speed! A tall cast
aluminum heatsink head on the T-15 keeps it cool and running smoothly, and
the 2-needle carb allows owners to tune the engine precisely for their
conditions. The included HPI Roto Start System lets the engine start up with
push-button convenience! No more fumbling for a starter cord - just attach
the glow plug igniter and Roto Start, hit the button and go! The T-15
breathes through a large pre-oiled air filter and our aluminum
header/composite tuned pipe combo - a great way to get tons of power to the
ground!
And we didn't stop with the new engine. Also installed on the car right
from the factory is our 2 Speed Transmission! In addition to boosting top
speed, our 2 Speed Transmission features an adjustable shift point and
changeable gear ratios for extra tuning convenience. Now RTR Nitro car
owners can experience the thrill of hearing and seeing their car shift from
first to second gear!
Putting the power to the ground is a ball bearing-equipped durable shaft
drive system featuring strong steel dogbones and sealed gear diffs.
Oil-filled coilover shocks provide the suspension action and provide an
extra bit of realism for full-size sports car fans.

Nitro RS4 3 Evo is a prepainted, trimmed and decaled body, ready to go right
out of the box. Choose from the high performance BMW M3 GT or the popular
Dodge Viper GTS-R! HPI D Compound X-Pattern tires are preglued onto flashy
chrome plated Split 6 wheels for awesome looks and performance!

The RTR Nitro RS4 3 Evo is a terrific way to get introduced to Nitro R/C!
Because it is completely assembled, getting started is just a matter of about an
hour's worth of work, and you're off and running!
Cleanup couldn't be easier, either - with a covered receiver case, fully
enclosed battery compartment and removable radio tray, it's just a matter of
spraying off the chassis with our #9062 Nitro Car Cleaner to get rid of road
dirt.
Easy to Upgrade!
In addition to any of our 200mm touring car bodies, the RTR Nitro
RS4 3 Evo can also accept any of our touring car wheels, treaded or slick tires, shocks, springs...
it's all available and waiting to fit your car! In the HPI tradition of parts
compatibility, many of the drivetrain hop-up parts from our popular Nitro RS4 MT
will bolt right on. Of course, there are several hop-ups available just for the
RTR 3 Evo, including a stronger chassis, graphite upper deck and many more to
come. We even have HPI brand Power Fuel, Nitro Start-Up sets, fuel bottles, and
Nitro Car Cleaner available so you can get rolling as quickly and easily as

Our new RTR Nitro RS4 3 Evo is the successor to the hugely popular RTR Nitro RS4
3, and is currently available from your favorite retailer.
Great radio!
The HPI TX-2 radio system included with HPI RTR kits is packed with features!
The super narrowband AM transmitter and receiver work together to let you
precisely control your car. Six different crystal choices let you race with your
friends!
The radio transmitter is comfortable to hold and features a battery strength
indicater, letting you know when the batteries need to be replaced or charged.
The transmitter also features a retractable antenna, steering and throttle trim
dials (for fine adjustments to center the servos), plus a dual rate adjustment
for the steering! Dual rate is very important because it lets you adjust how far
the steering servo turns the front wheels left and right.
Two strong servos are also installed in each HPI RTR Nitro kit, already
plugged into the standard size super narrowband AM receiver. A convenient on/off
switch is also included!
If a warranty issue is ever encountered, Airtronics handles all USA returns
and repairs. Upgrades are also available from your local hobby shop!
Four AA batteries are needed to fit in the car battery holder, with 8 AA
batteries needed for the transmitter.
